About the Founders
Keven McLaurin - FounderI have been hiking for over 10 years now and is certified in CPR/First Aid, Leave No Trace, and Wilderness First Aid (WFA). My passion for the outdoors has led me to want to bring the outdoors to Holyoke youth to inspire curiosity, resilience, and lasting love for the outdoors. Hiking has taught me growth, perseverance, and the power of nature. Through Summit 1202 Youth Outdoors I aim to share these same experiences and lessons.
Summit 1202 Youth Outdoors was founded by Keven McLaurin and Jose Reyes. Two local outdoor enthusiasts and adventures who have a passion for connecting kids with nature. We are looking to provide a safe, fun, and educational experience that will help our youth grow, explore, and build confidence through outdoor adventures. Jose Reyes - FounderAs a dad I know how important it is for kids to explore, grow, and build confidence. Through my own journey with my own kids I have seen how the outdoors inspires growth, community, and connection. I love sharing those experiences and lessons with kids and look to help our youth through outdoor adventures with Summit 1202 Youth Outdoors.
